(Salt Creek Township, Ohio)- The Ohio Highway Patrol says a five year old boy was hurt when a truck hit an Amish buggy.

It happened in Wayne County around 11:10AM Saturday on County Road 2.

Police say the 19 year old driver  crested a hill and hit the buggy from behind.

He then veered across the road and hit another car.

He and another child were treated at the scene.

The five year old was taken to Wooster Community Hospital, and then was life-flighted to Akron Children's Hospital.

The buggy driver was not injured.

Police blame speed and driver inattention for the accident.
