Emotions were high Wednesday night when the Cleveland Police Patrolman's Association took time out of their regular meeting to honor Cleveland Police Officers who were the first responders to 2207 Seymour Avenue last Monday night.

President of the CPPA Jeff Follmer says the Officers were honored because "they did everything right, the bottom line is four people were saved and one male was arrested".

A few of the officers spoke to the audience of about 50 members of the CPPA and media. Officer Anthony Espada said it was an emotional experience, adding it was hard for him to broadcast all the information over the radio without breaking down "I was on the verge of breaking down seeing those girls".

Officer Michael Tracy said it was an amazing experience. He said all of the Second District Patrol Officers have seen the flyers for Berry and DeJesus and followed bogus leads "to see her (Berry) peering through the driver's side window at me, I just couldn't believe it".
