(Cleveland)- Gasoline prices in Cleveland are near the $4 mark...

The average for a gallon of regular gas in Cleveland today is $3.92. Last week we were paying $3.84, a month ago prices were about 30-cents cheaper than today's prices.

This compares with the national average that has not moved in the last week to $3.64 according to http://www.gasbuddy.com/. Motorists in Ohio are paying an extra quarter or more per gallon.

The state average is about 32 cents higher than a month ago and 33 cents higher than at the same time in 2012.

Analysts have said rising oil prices amid fears about refinery problems in the Great Lakes pushed pump prices above $4 in some parts of Ohio last week.
