(Bay Village) Police are investigating reports of possible child enticements in Bay Village. According to an email sent to parents, an 11-year-old girl was walking to Bay Middle School on Tuesday and reported being approached by a man in a white SUV. The man, described as white with gray hair asked "what's your favorite lollipop?" "mine is grape" the email stated.

That incident occured at around 7:30am at Douglas Drive and Lake Road. A similar incident happened on Monday to an 11-year-old boy on Dover Center Road near Heinen's. The four-door sedan that approached the boy had tinted windows so he was unable to see the suspect. The man asked the boy if he wanted a ride.

Police are still investigating an incident that happened to a 3rd grader on his way to Westerly School on September 25th. The suspect was described by the boy as a middle aged white man who was driving a dirty, older white van. He pulled into a driveway on Wolf Road between Walmar and Bradley and asked the boy if he wanted a ride to school.

Bay Village Police Lt. Mark Spaetzel released the following statement:

"In the last week, the bay village police department has received three suspicious incident calls involving adult males in vehicles contacting children. There has been no physical contact in any of these instances but have involved unsolicited questions from the adult males to the children. There has been no consistency between the vehicle descriptions or subject descriptions in the three reported instances. Whether these have been ill-advised innocent comments or attempts at solicitation is unclear. However, we encourage parents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior. "
