(Cleveland) -- For another 20 years, people buying alcohol and tobacco products in Cuyahoga County will continue to help support the maintenance of Progressive Field, Quicken Loans Arena and FirstEnergy Stadium. Issue 7, renewing the so-called "Sin Tax," was approved by Cuyahoga County voters Tuesday.

Democratic voters in Cuyahoga County chose State Rep. Armond Budish from a field of six as their candidate for county executive in the fall. Budish will face the GOP nominee, businessman Jack Schron.

A new county executive will be elected as incumbent Ed FitzGerald will be the Democratic nominee for governor. FitzGerald easily defeated Larry Ealy of Dayton, and will face incumbent governor John Kasich in November

Republican Congressman David Joyce turned back a challenge from Tea Party-backed challenger Matt Lynch in the 14th District Primary.

Across Ohio, voters approved Issue 1, which will continue the Ohio Public Works Commission and give Ohio the power to issue $1.8 billion in bonds over the next ten years to pay for local infrastructure improvements.
