(Cleveland) -- Work is underway to give PlayhouseSquare what officials hope is a record-setting attraction.

PlayhouseSquare President Art Falco announced Monday a massive chandelier will be hung over East 14th Street and Euclid Avenue.

Falco says Cleveland-based GE Lighting is sponsoring the chandelier and providing the LED lighting to make over PlayhouseSquare with vintage signs, video screens and a redesigned Star Plaza.

The changes will be unveiled to the public on May 2nd. Falco says once the weather warms up, the scramble will begin to prepare the theater district for the grand unveiling.
