(Cleveland) -- Once again, local TV news anchor Robin Swoboda is saying "goodbye." Swoboda, who co-anchors the 7:00 p.m. news on WKYC-TV, confirms that she will not renew her contract when it comes up at the end of the month.

Swoboda tells WTAM that her departure from her third Cleveland TV station has a lot to do with the nature of the news, saying she has had to report "the worst news in the last three years in my time in Cleveland." She's looking for a new challenge in which she says she can make a difference each and every day.

Swoboda first came to Cleveland in the late 80s to co-anchor next to Tim Taylor at WJW-TV. She has hosted a daytime show at WJW, and she has also been on WEWS-TV.
