Coming up this week in Cleveland, The Indians play a 3 game series against the Oakland A’s, The Blossom Time Festival starts Thursday out in Chagrin Falls, The Tremont Greek Festival begins on Friday and Taste Of Summer Kicks off also Friday down in the East Bank of the Flats.

The Cleveland Asian Festival continues today down in Asia Town with all kinds of food vendors as well as live entertainment, Martial Arts Demonstrations and more. It goes from 11 to 7 today. Or make a trek out to The Kent Stage tonight to see John Waite. He’ll be doing his solo hit “Missing You” in addition to music from his past bands Bad English and The Baby’s tonight starting at 7:30.

Monday May 20

Take in some classical music tonight and go check out the Rocky River Chamber Music Society’s last concert of the season. They perform tonight at 7:30 at the West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church in Rocky River. Or make your weekend plans now to check out Blossom Time 2019 over in Chagrin Falls. They will have carnival rides, hot air balloons, food vendors, live music and more all weekend starting this Thursday.

Cheer on our tribe as they play the first of 3 games against The Oakland A’s tonight at Progressive Field. First pitch is at 6:10. Or if you’re a speed metal fan, you can make the drive to Youngstown to go see Slayer down at the Covelli Center. There’s two openers and the show starts at 6 tonight.

The Happy Dog on Detroit Avenue hosts Classical Revolution Cleveland tonight. It’s a group of various musicians around Cleveland getting together to bring classical music into a bar setting. It’s free for all-ages and the music gets started at 8. Or make your weekend plans now to hit the 49th annual Tremont Greek Festival. Take in all aspects of Greek culture from food to spirits to dancing starting this Friday at noon down at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

Make your lunch plans to hit Truck Stop Tuesday over at Crocker Park. Some of Cleveland’s best local food trucks will be doling out the goods from 11 to 2 today. Can’t make that today? Then make your lunch plans tomorrow to hit Walnut Wednesday over at Perk Plaza at Chester Commons. Even more food trucks trucks will be on hand from 11 to 1:30.

Go see Million Dollar Quartet produced by The Great Lakes Theater. It’s a recreation of the famous jam session involving Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis & Johnny Cash. The performance starts at 7:30 tonight inside the Hanna Theater. Or make your weekend plans now to check out Taste Of Summer down at the Flats East Bank. There will be plenty of food, local music, craft cocktails and beer, local vendors and more starting this Friday at 4.

Go celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Who’s landmark album “Tommy” tonight over at the Rock Hall as they screen the 1975 Movie tonight at starting at 7. Or take part in Boozy Bingo down at the Winchester Music Tavern in Lakewood. It’s exactly like it sounds and it’s free to play from 7 to 9 tonight. 

Thursday May 23

If you want to get a jump start on your long weekend, The Blossom Time 2019 festival gets started today at 5:30 over in Chagrin Falls. They will have carnival rides, hot air balloons, food vendors, live music and more. It goes all weekend long. Or get some culture in and head over to Severance Hall for Keenlyside Sings Sibelius. Featuring two members of the Cleveland Orchestra, Finnish born Simon Keenlyside will sing rarely heard classic tunes from Finland starting at 7:30 tonight.

Our Cleveland Indians kick off a 4-game series tonight against the Tampa Bay Rays at Progressive Field. First pitch is at 6:10. Or you could take in some theater with a local production called Central Concern. It takes a satirical look at the American Real Estate profession and how it championed property values over civil rights. It starts at 7 tonight at the Cleveland Public Theater.

Friday May 24

The 49th annual Tremont Greek Festival gets underway today. Take in all aspects of Greek culture from food to spirits to dancing starting at noon down at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. It goes all the way to Monday night. Or you can also check out Taste Of Summer down at the Flats East Bank. There will be plenty of food, local music, craft cocktails, beer, local vendors and more starting today at 4 and going all the way to Sunday night.

If you’re a fan of 90’s pop punk in the vein of Green Day or Blink 182, go check out Sum 41 as they hit the Phantasy Theater. The show gets started at 8 tonight. Or go check out a local production called AIDA. Described as an epic tale of passion, loyalty and betrayal, it has a Tony-Award winning score written by Elton John and Tim Rice. The show starts at 7:30 at the Karamu House on the east side.

Saturday May 25

Take in all aspects of Greek culture from food to spirits to dancing from noon to midnight down at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. It goes all the way to Monday night. Or you can also check out Taste Of Summer down at the Flats East Bank. There will be plenty of food, local music, craft cocktails, beer, local vendors and more from noon to 10 today and tomorrow.

The Blossom Time 2019 festival is happening all day today starting at 9am till 11 tonight over in Chagrin Falls. They will have carnival rides, hot air balloons, food vendors, live music and more. It’s also happening from 9am to 10 pm tomorrow. Or you can also hit Reggae Fest Cleveland 2019 over in Twinsburg. The Perici Amphitheater is hosting the event featuring four of Ohio’s finest Reggae bands along with plenty of food trucks and craft beer to get you in the mood. It starts at 4 today.
