Machine Gun Kelly Checks In On Pete Davidson After Apparent Suicide Note

Machine Gun Kelly hopped a plane to check on his friend Pete Davidson.

Over the weekend, Davidson took to Instagram in an apparent suicide note that had fans and celebrities alike concerned for the 25-year-old star's well-being. "I really don't want to be on this earth anymore," he wrote in the post at the time. "I'm doing my best to stay here for you but somewhere actually don't know how much longer i can last. All i've ever tried to do was help people. Just remember i told you so."

The harrowing message urged thousands to send well-wishes and love Davidson's way on social media, as the comic has previously expressed how online bullying and harassment has damaged his mental health and triggered suicidal thoughts ever since his breakup with Ariana Grande.

Discerning his friend was in dire need, the "Wild Boy" rapper flew out to New York City as promised to ensure Davidson was okay. “I’m in the plane now on the way to see Pete. gonna make sure he’s good, i promise," MGK tweeted, adding, "Can’t have my boy in the darkness like that.”

Thankfully, the comic appeared to be safe and sound — he was photoed hugging MGK outside the production's studios just before making his appearance on this weekend's episode (December 15) of Saturday Night Live.

In an update to TMZ on Monday (December 16), MGK said things with Pete still are not great but he's offering his support.

Kelly wasn't the only star to rush to Davidson's side, either. Despite his refusal to make contact with her, Grande was also on standby at NBC studios to ensure her ex-boyfriend was okay as well. As we previously reported, though, Davidson has had the "Light Is Coming" singer blocked on social media in order "to distance himself from her narrative for his health."
