You can't fake chemistry!

Turns out, Lana Candor and Noah Centineo pulled a real-life Lara Jean and Peter Kravinsky before filming To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.

While promoting her upcoming SYFY show Deadly Class, on Thursday’s Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon episode, Lana admitted that she and Noah made a similar TATBILB contract after she realized she had some feelings for her co-star.

"We had just come back from a hot yoga class and went to his apartment and we ordered pizza," the 21-year-old actress recalled of one her and Noah's first outings. "And it was kind of like, oh, hot yoga, pizza, what's happening?" She added: "It was right before we shot the movie, just trying to get to know each other. And I felt something! I looked at him and I was like, 'Noah, it's not going to happen between us.'"

Lana, who is currently dating Anthony De La Torre, then explained that she "felt that for the show to do well," the two had to keep things platonic and simply be "best-friend professionals."

“And so I was like, 'It’s just not gonna happen.' And he was like, 'Yeah it’s not gonna happen.' And I was like, 'Great,'” she shared. "So we kind of did what we did in To All the Boys movie. We kind of made a contract and set boundaries. I’m so happy that we did that because the movie turned out great and now we’re doing a sequel. So I have to work with him again, so imagine!"

While the two put the possibility of a romantic relationship on ice, she did admit that the two still have off-screen chemistry. "We still have that spark. Absolutely," she said. "We were just on the phone the other day just talking about the sequel." Jimmy then made a joke that maybe she and Noah call fall in love in the future — specifically after filming all the To All The Boys movies — and Lana didn't completely rule it out.
