Coming up this week in Cleveland, The Indians take on the Chicago White Sox tomorrow for the Home Opener, The Phantom Of The Opera begins its run at Playhouse Square on Wednesday, The Cleveland Museum Of Art has their monthly Mix event on Friday and Downtown Disco Cleveland happens on Saturday.

If you’re a fan of the band Yes, their singer Jon Anderson will be performing tonight at the MGM Northfield Park, formerly Hard Rock Rocksino. Expect to hear music from all eras of his career tonight at 7:30. Or go check out The Cleveland Botanical Garden’s new Amazing Butterflies exhibit. It includes a Butterfly Zip Line, a climbable spider web, educational games and more. It goes from 10 to 5 today and happens all the way through the end of April.

Get an inside view of the Connor Palace Theater down in Playhouse Square as they put on their Ghost Tour tonight. You’ll get the lowdown on various ghost sightings and unexplained occurrences during the venue’s near 100 year history. 3 different tours happen between 7 and 11 tonight. Or make your Friday plans now to hit The Cleveland Museum Of Art’s monthly Mix Event. The theme this time is “Funk”. Take in Funk music and all its variations while you tour the galleries Friday night from 6-10.

The Indians takes on the Chicago White Sox today down at Progressive Field for the Home Opener. The game may be sold out but you can bet any tavern you walk into will have the game on. First pitch is at 4 today, Go Tribe! Or you can catch a local stage production called Gloria. It’s a comedic look at the cut-throat competition that exists in getting the best story first in modern media. It happens tonight at 7:30 inside The Cleveland Public Theater.

If you’re looking to get out tonight, head over to the Winchester Music Tavern in Lakewood for their Open Turntable Tuesdays & Open Mic Night. Bring your own vinyl for them to spin from 6-9 and if you are musically inclined, participate in their Open Mic night happening after 9. Or make your Saturday plans now for Downtown Disco Cleveland. Gray’s Armory Museum will be transformed into a giant disco hall complete with a huge disco ball. Dance like it’s 1979 from 8-midnight this Saturday.

If you’re a Stephen King fan, check out an event called Stephen King’s Colorado. You’ll get insight into how Colorado’s beautiful scenery inspired King’s novels like The Shining and The Stand. It starts at 6:30 at the Nordonia Hills Public Library. Or go see a new stage play called Tiny Houses tonight. It’s about a woman who quits her finance job to go across the country to build a 200 square foot tiny house. Showtime is 7 inside the Outcalt Theater.

Go see Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom Of The Opera, which makes its debut tonight at Playhouse Square. The touring production will be here through April 20th. Showtime is at 7:30 tonight inside the KeyBank State Theater. Or you can take the family to the IX Indoor Amusement Park. Get your fix of rides and fair food today from 10 to 9. It runs through April 22nd.

Head over to Music Box Supper Club tonight for Cleveland Stories Dinner Parties. Tonight, members of the Baseball Heritage Museum will be telling tales from Cleveland’s Glorious Baseball Past. Dinner is at 6 and the storytelling starts promptly at 7. Or check out The Rock Hall’s event called Rock Hall Nights: Put The Needle On The Record. Explore the history of recorded sound and more tonight from 6 to 9.

If you want to go back to the golden age of Motown, two of their most Iconic acts are performing tonight. The Temptations and The Four Tops will be together down at the Akron Civic Center. Showtime is at 8 tonight. Or you can check out a stage production called The Velocity Of Autumn. It’s a comedy/drama about an 80 year old woman in a showdown with her family on where to spend her golden years. It happens at 7:30 tonight at the Karamu House on the East side.

Cheer on our Tribe as they take on the Toronto Blue Jays tonight at Progressive Field. First pitch is at 6:10. Or catch the hilarious and sometimes shocking humor of Dan Cummins as he performs at Hilarities. He’ll hit the stage at tonight 7.

The theme tonight is “Funk”. Take in Funk music and all its variations while you tour the galleries tonight from 6-10. Or check out The Cleveland Ballet in a new comedic stage production called Coppelia. It centers around a doctor who’s made a life-sized dancing doll. Showtime is at 8 tonight at the Ohio Theater.

If you like the music of Elton John, the Music Box Supper Club is hosting an Elton John Tribute by Madmen Across The Water. The supper club will be offering a Fish Fry on their menu tonight as well. Showtime is at 8 tonight. Or go see Flanagan’s Wake down at Playhouse Square. The interactive Irish production starts tonight at 8 inside the Kennedy Theater.
