Coming up this week in Cleveland, Third Eye Blind play Jacobs Pavillion at Nautica on Tuesday, Blossom Amphitheater has a Salute To America on Wednesday night, Lakewood has a 4th of July Parade and Fireworks on Thursday night and The Play Ball Park in honor of the MLB All Star Game will be open starting Friday.

Crocker Park has a music festival happening today called Liberty Rocks ahead of Independence Day. It’s a free show starting at 3 today with 5 bands including Plain White T’s who headline tonight. Or if you’re in Lakewood, go to the Edgewater Street Fest. There will be live music, art, food, children’s activities and more today from noon to 7 over on Clifton Boulevard at west 117th.

If you feel like getting out tonight, go see the Skatch Anderssen Big Band at Brothers Lounge. The music and dancing starts tonight at 8. Or make your Wednesday night plans now to hit Blossom Music Center’s Salute To America. The Blossom Festival Band will be performing all kinds of patriotic songs with a fireworks display at the end.

Last Call Trivia is doing Lunchtime Trivia at U. S. Bank Plaza from 12:30-1:30 this afternoon. Teams can range from 1 to 8 players and prizes are given out at the end of the event. Or you can get an intimate look at some of Cleveland’s greatest buildings downtown with the Cleveland From The Inside Walking Tour. It happens today down in Public Square from 1-3.
Tuesday July 2

Head out to U. S. Bank Plaza for Dancing Under The Stars. There will be swing dance lessons beginning at 6 with dancing continuing on till 9 tonight. Or you could go catch 90’s act Third Eye Blind as they hit Jacobs Pavillion at Nautica tonight. The show starts at 7 with opening act Jimmy Eat World.

Head over to the Winchester Music Tavern in Lakewood for their Open Turntable Tuesdays & Open Mic Night. Bring your own vinyl for them to spin from 6-9 and if you are musically inclined, participate in their Open Mic night happening after 9. Or make your Thursday plans now to catch Lakewood’s July 4th Parade and Fireworks. The parade is in the morning at 10 and the fireworks are at night starting at 9:30.

Head out to Blossom Music Center’s Salute To America. The Blossom Festival Band will be performing all kinds of patriotic songs with a fireworks display at the end. The music starts tonight at 8. Or get some local entertainment over at The Happy Dog tonight with their event, Keep Talking: A Storytelling Show. This event features local people telling stories of crazy events in their lives. Sounds random? It is. Find out what it’s all about tonight starting at 7:30.

If you’re a Fleetwood Mac Fan, get out to Music Box Supper Club to catch Tusk: A Fleetwood Mac Tribute. They’ll cover all the band’s hits from the 70s to now starting at 8 tonight. Or go pick up some fruits and veggies grown by local vendors at the North Union Farmers Market down at U.S. Bank Plaza. It goes from 4-7 today.
Thursday July 4

Head out to Lakewood this morning and catch their Fourth Of July parade starting at 10. Is that too early for ya? Then don’t miss their fireworks display down at Lakewood Park starting at 9:30 tonight. Or you can head down to the Flats for Light Up The Lake put on by the Downtown Cleveland Alliance. Once the sun goes down, they will have a fireworks display over Lake Erie down at Dock 20.

Go check out the Bayarts Farm & Art Market today. There will local food, art, demos, home décor and more from 5 to 8 today in Bay Village. Or if you’re up for an Akron road trip, they’ll have a Red, White & Blue Rib Festival happening today at Lock 3 Akron. There will be festivities starting at 11 today with live music tonight at 8 followed by Fireworks at 9:45.
Friday July 5
Lake Take 1
Go see The Cleveland Orchestra tonight as part of the Blossom Music Festival over at Blossom Music Center. They will perform music from On The Waterfront in addition to Rhapsody In Blue and others. The music starts at 8 with Fireworks afterward. Or just in time for All-Star Weekend, you can catch Cleveland baseball legend Rocky Colavito at the KeyBank State Theater tonight. He’ll talk about his life and career and he’ll take audience questions as well. He’ll be onstage tonight at 7:30.

Catch a little R-Rated comedy with Chris Redd down at Hilarities. He’s been featured in the Nexflix comedy Disjointed and as also starred in ABC’s Family Fortune. He’ll take the stage at 7 tonight. Or you can go hit the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for their Asian Lantern Festival tonight. View the more than 40 all-new lantern displays along with live music happening from 6:30 to 10 tonight.

Be a part of the MLB All-Star Weekend and head down to the Play Ball Park over at the Huntington Convention Center. There will be baseball memorabilia, a video game zone, autograph stages, interactive exhibits and lots more from 10-8 today. Or catch Killer Queen, The Premier Tribute To Queen happening at MGM Northfield Park. Hear all the classic Queen hits starting at 8 tonight.

Go take in some local theater with the Oberlin Summer Theater Festival. Tonight, they will have a performance of Shakespeare’s Measure For Measure over at the Wurzel Theater starting at 7. Or if you’re a midnight movie fan, go see The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The cult classic hits the screen at the Cedar lee theater at, you guessed it, midnight tonight!
