Coming up this week in Cleveland, The Indians play a 4-game series against The Chicago White Sox at Progressive Field starting tomorrow, The 2019 Pinball & Arcade Show kicks off on Thursday, The CMA’s monthly MIX event happens on Friday and The Cleveland Comic & Toy Convention is on Saturday.

Lake Take 2

Get down to Ohio City for the St. Rocco Festival. The 105th annual event will have plenty of Italian cuisine, casino games, carnival rides and more from noon to 11:30 tonight. Or head to Blossom to hear The Cleveland Orchestra play the score of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back along with the film. It all starts at 7:30 tonight.

Monday September 2

Cheer on our Tribe tonight down at Progressive Field as they start a 4-game series against The Chicago White Sox. First pitch is at 7:10. Or get down to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds for Cleveland Oktoberfest. The German tradition with food, beer, music, and dancing goes from noon to 8 today.

Lake Take 2

Head out to the 2019 Great Geauga County Fair today. Known as the Great Granddaddy of Ohio county fairs, expect lots of live music, rides, special exhibits, fair food and more today from 9 am to midnight. Or go check out the Saint Elias Middle Eastern Festival. There will be live music and all kinds of exotic food and pastries on hand from noon to 6 today down at the Saint Elias Church.

Tuesday September 3

Go check out our Cleveland Indians down at Progressive Field as they play game 2 in a 4-game series against The Chicago White Sox. First pitch is at 7:10. Oh and come hungry because it’s Sugardale dollar dog night! Or make your Friday plans now to hit The Cleveland Museum Of Art’s monthly MIX event. The theme this month is Decoded with exhibits and music that’s all about blending art with technology. It goes from 6 to 10 this Friday night.

Head to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame to see their Woodstock At 50 exhibit. Check out memorabilia from that landmark music festival from 10 to 5:30. Can’t make it today? The exhibit is extended till the end of the year. Or if you’re a Pinball fan, get yourself ready for the 2019 Pinball & Arcade Show that kicks off on Thursday. With your admission, expect over 100 pinball machines and over 30 classic arcade games to play to your heart’s content. The 5th annual event happens all weekend long down at the Holiday Inn over in Independence.

Grab a few mid-week laughs tonight over at Hilarities with comic Derick Lengwenus. The Montreal native combines impersonations with good clean humor including a skit featuring Cookie Monster from Sesame Street. The show starts at 7. Or get some local entertainment over at The Happy Dog tonight with their event, Keep Talking: A Storytelling Show. This event features local people telling stories of crazy events in their lives. Sounds random? It is. Find out what it’s all about tonight starting at 7:30.

Get a little local history in at Cleveland Stories Dinner Parties tonight over at the Music Box Supper Club. This week’s guest is Ohio Lawyer Michael J. Jordan as he discusses the infamous Cleveland Torso Murders. The storytelling begins promptly at 7 tonight. Or you can cheer on our Tribe tonight as they play game 3 in a 4-game series against the Chicago White Sox. First pitch is at 7:10.

Were you a child of MTV in the early 1980’s? Then head down to the Rock Hall tonight for a special Q&A session with the original VJ’s called “I Want My MTV VJ’s”. Nina Blackwood, Martha Quinn, Mark Goodman and Alan Hunter will talk about their time at the network and do a meet & greet as well. It goes down at 7 tonight. Or if you’re a Pinball fan, get over to the 2019 Pinball & Arcade Show that kicks off tonight starting at 5. Expect over 100 pinball machines and over 30 classic arcade games to play to your heart’s content. The 5th annual event happens all weekend long down at the Holiday Inn over in Independence.

Or make your Saturday plans now to hit the Cleveland Comic & Toy Convention happening at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. There will be over 200 vendors and guests for fans of comics, toys, action figures, sci-fi and more. It goes from 10-5 on Saturday and Sunday.

Get out and attend The Cleveland Museum Of Art’s monthly MIX event. The theme this month is Decoded with exhibits and music that’s all about blending art with technology. It goes from 6 to 10 tonight. Or go see the acclaimed musical The Book Of Mormon over at The Connor Palace Theater. The outrageous musical comedy has been called by the New York Times “The best musical of this century” and the curtain drops at 7:30 tonight.

Lake Take 2

Go see award winning comedian, author and director Ward Anderson tonight. He’ll focus on his experiences as a comedian and also provide funny anecdotes on his personal life. He’ll do two shows: one at 7 and another at 9 tonight at MGM Northfield Park’s Neon Room. Or if you want to have a swanky good time tonight, head over to the Music Box Supper Club for Sinatra Night with Michael Sonata. He’ll do all your favorite Sinatra standards starting at 8 tonight.

If you’re a Pinball fan, get over to the 2019 Pinball & Arcade Show today over at the Holiday Inn in Independence. The 5th Annual event will have over 100 pinball machines and over 30 classic arcade games to play till you can’t play no more. It goes from 10am to midnight today and from 9 to 6 tomorrow. Or if you want to check out some Semi-Local art, head to the Downtown Akron Artwalk. Tour the galleries at Summit Artspace, Northside Cellar and more from 5 to 9 tonight.

Re-awaken the kid inside and go to The Cleveland Comic & Toy Convention happening at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. There will be over 200 vendors and guests for fans of comics, toys, action figures, sci-fi and more. It goes from 10-5 today and tomorrow. Or if you’re a midnight movie fan, go see The Rocky Horror Picture show. The cult classic hits the screen at the Cedar lee theater at, you guessed it, midnight tonight!
