Coming up this week in Cleveland, The Indians start a 3-game series against the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday night, The Cleveland Orchestra performs Romeo & Juliet on Thursday, The 78th Street Studios Third Friday Artwalk is on Friday and The Cleveland Fall Flea is on Saturday.

Go see comic Nemr tonight over at Hilarities. The Lebanese based comic spins many tales of his time over in the Middle East and he’ll take the stage tonight at 7. Or get out and head over to the Macedonia Craft Beer & Food Truck Festival. It’s a free event with plenty of food, drink, live music and kids activities too. It goes from 11 to 4 today.

Monday September 16

If you feel like getting out tonight, go see the Skatch Anderssen Big Band at Brothers Lounge. The music and dancing starts tonight at 8. Or make your Friday plans now to check out some of the best local art in town at the 78th street studios Third Friday Art Walk. Tour the more than 60 galleries which will open their doors from 5 to 9 on Friday night.

Catch a movie on the cheap tonight at a participating Cleveland Cinemas Theater. They'll have $5 movie tickets and discounted concession items too. Or make your Saturday plans now to hit the Cleveland Fall Flea down at Tyler Village. Shop from dozens of one-of-a-kind vendors Saturday from 10-5 and Sunday from 10-4.

Tuesday September 17

Lake Take 1

Cheer on our Tribe tonight as they start a 3-game series against The Detroit Tigers down at Progressive Field. First pitch is at 7:10. Or hit The Happy Dog on Detroit Avenue as they host Classical Revolution Cleveland tonight. It’s a group of various musicians around Cleveland getting together to bring classical music into a bar setting. It’s free for all-ages and the music gets started at 8.

Lake Take 2

If you’re a fan of the Beatles & The Stones, then go see Beatles Vs. Stones, A Musical Showdown. Beatles tribute act Abbey Road will go head to head with Stones Tribute act Satisfaction down the Stocker Arts Center in Lorain.See who comes out on top starting at 7:30 tonight. Or sharpen your brain along with some alcohol consumption by hitting Geeks Who Drink over at the Great Lakes Brewing Company. From 8 to 10 tonight they’ll be doling out the headscratchers along with plenty of beer and food to go along. Prizes are awarded to first and second place winners.

Wednesday September 18

Lake Take 1

The Cleveland Indians play game 2 in their 3-game series against the Detroit Tigers down at Progressive Field. Get a vintage bobblehead with your ticket and the first pitch is at 7:10. Or get some laughs in tonight with Cleveland-born comic Jason Lawhead. He’s opened for comic Bill Burr on numerous tours and has appeared on Last Comic Standing too. He’ll be onstage tonight at 7.

Lake Take 2

Get a little local history in over at the Music Box Supper Club. They’ll host Cleveland Stories Dinner Parties and tonight’s guest is True-Crime author Jane Ann Turzillo. She’ll recount many unsolved murders and disappearances in the Northeast Ohio’s history. The storytelling begins promptly at 7. Or head over to the Capitol Theater in Gordon Square as they show the classic Dustin Hoffman comedy Tootsie on the big screen.There will be a cocktail party starting at 6 with the movie screening at 7.

Thursday September 19

Lake take 1

Take in some classical music tonight as The Cleveland Orchestra perform Prokoviev’s score to Romeo And Juliet. The show starts at 7:30 tonight inside Severance Hall. Or go see a new stage production starts tonight called Into The Breeches. Presented by the Cleveland Playhouse, it’s a comedy centering around a group of women, with little stage experience, who are determined to put on an all-female version of Shakespeare’s Henry the 4th and 5th. It starts tonight at 7:30 inside the Allen Theater. 

Lake Take 2

Catch comedian, writer and actor Nick Kroll as he brings his Middle Aged Boy tour to Playhouse Square tonight. Nick performs over 30 voices on his hit animated series on Netflix called Big Mouth. It’s an all-ages show and he’ll be onstage tonight at 7:30 inside the Mimi Ohio Theater. Or you can go watch The Cleveland Indians play the final game in their series against the Detroit Tigers down at Progressive Field. First pitch is at 7:10.

Friday September 20

Lake take 1

Check out some of the best local art in town at the 78th street studios Third Friday Art Walk. Tour the more than 60 galleries which will open their doors from 5 to 9 tonight. Or go cheer on our Tribe as they take on the Philadelphia Phillies down at Progressive Field. First pitch is at 7:10 and there will be fireworks after the game.

Head down to Playhouse Square to catch stand-up comedian Pat McGann. He created and hosted the Emmy-nominated show The Chicago Stand-Up Project and he’ll grace the stage at the Mimi Ohio Theater tonight at 8. Or go see Matt Johnson’s Dueling Piano Fiasco at MGM Northfield Park’s Neon Room. Expect rowdy singalongs and an energetic performance starting tonight at 8.

Saturday September 21

Lake take 1

Get some laughs in tonight with comedian Norm Macdonald. A veteran of Saturday Night Live, The Norm Show and his recent long-running show on Netflix, Norm will take his deadpan humor to the Cleveland Masonic Auditorium tonight starting at 8. Or you can get down to Jacobs Pavillion to catch ZZ Top along with Cheap Trick. Both iconic bands will be performing tonight starting at 7:30.

Lake Take 2

Make your way down to Tyler village just east of downtown today for the Cleveland Fall Flea. Shop from dozens of one-of-a-kind vendors today from 10-5 and tomorrow from 10-4. Or if you wanna put a little funk in to your bowling game, head down to Yorktown Lanes for their Funk Dance party with local band Fatback Mango. The bowling and music starts at 9 and goes till midnight.
