Coming up this week in Cleveland, Summer – The Donna Summer Musical continues at Playhouse Square, Boo At The Zoo happens on Friday, The Cavs take on The Indiana Pacers on Saturday and comic Joe Rogan is at the Wolstein Center also on Saturday.

Are you a vegetarian or are just a fan of vegetables in general? Then get down to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds today for the 2019 Cleveland Area VegBash. From 10-6 today, check out all kinds of meat-free dishes from local restaurants, live music, trick or treating, shopping and more. Or take the family to the IX Center’s Trick Or Treat Street. There will loads of candy stations, live entertainment, amusement park rides and more. Costumes are encouraged and the event goes today from 11-7. 

Monday October 21

Lake Take 1

Are you a fan of Wrestling? Then go check out WWE Monday Night Raw down at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Wrestling superstars Lacey Evans, Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman will all be on hand for the action starting at 7:30 tonight. Or head to the Cleveland Public Theater to see Rastus And Hattie. It’s a comedic look at relationships across racial lines from the past, present and future. The curtain drops at 7:30 tonight.

Lake Take 2

If you’re looking for some comedy tonight, head over to Great Lakes Brewing Company. Bill Squire, from our sister station WMMS, will be on hand for Craft Laughs. It’s a weekly stand-up event showcasing upcoming local comedians. It all goes down starting at 8. Or catch a movie on the cheap tonight at a participating Cleveland Cinemas Theater. They'll have $5 movie tickets and discounted concession items too.

Tuesday October 22

Lake Take 1

Head down to Playhouse Square to catch Summer – The Donna Summer Musical. It charts the singer’s rise from her Boston roots to become one of the biggest chart topping singers of the 20th Century. The curtain drops at 7:30 tonight inside the Connor Palace Theater. Or get some education at the Cuyahoga County Public Library Strongsville with a lecture called World War 2: Through Their Eyes. This free event features multiple real life accounts from World War 2 and it starts at 7 tonight.

Lake Take 2

Drink for a cause tonight at Fostering Hops over at the Van Aken District in Shaker Heights. This fundraiser in the form of a block party features live music, guest bartenders, food trucks and plenty of beer on tap. Proceeds go to support Fostering Hope, which is dedicated to enriching the lives of foster children. It starts at 6:30. Or head over to the Winchester Music Tavern in Lakewood for their Open Turntable Tuesdays & Open Mic Night. Bring your own vinyl for them to spin from 6-9 and if you are musically inclined, participate in their Open Mic night happening after 9.

Wednesday October 23

Lake Take 1

Get some culture in today and check out The Cleveland Museum Of Art’s newest exhibit, Michelangelo: Mind Of The Master. Over two dozen of the legendary artist’s rarely-seen sketches will be on display today from 10 to 9. Or go to the Rock Hall tonight for Exposed! Music Legends 1969 – 1973. Photographer Michael Friedman will be on hand for a Q&A and exhibition of his photographs of iconic rockers from The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, The Band and more. It starts at 7 tonight. 

Lake Take 2

Attend Cleveland Stories Dinner Parties down at the Music Box Supper Club. Tonight’s speaker is cartoonist Tom Batiuk who will talk about his cartoon strips Funky Winkerbean and Crankshaft, which have been carried by numerous newspapers across the country. The storytelling begins tonight at 7. Or go see the classic Tony-Winning Musical, The Music Man, down at Playhouse Square. The Great Lakes Theater production takes place down at the Hanna Theater tonight at 7:30.

Thursday October 24

Lake Take 1

Catch a performance of the hit musical Into the Woods, which opens tonight at the Allen Theater down in Playhouse Square. This twist on classic fairytales will start at 7:30. Or get over to Severance Hall as The Cleveland Orchestra teams up with pianist Marc-Andre Hamelin for Hamelin Plays Liszt. Expect lots of musical drama at this performance which starts at 7:30 tonight.

Lake Take 2

Catch some throwback 80’s metal tonight down at the Akron Civic Theater as rockers Dokken take the stage along with Lita Ford. The music gets started at 8. Or you can get in the Fall spirit and bring the family to Pumpkin Pandemonium at Heritage Farms Peninsula. There’s a Harvest Maze, scavenger hunt, hayrides and more today from 2-6. Can’t make it today? No problem. It goes to the end of the month.

Friday October 25

Lake Take 1

Grab the family and head down to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium for Captain Neo’s Hauntaquarium. Dress up the kids and get full Aquarium access, a dance party, trick or treating, slime making, photo ops and more activities. It goes from 6 – 9 tonight. Or go see Matt Johnson’s Dueling Piano Fiasco at MGM Northfield Park’s Neon Room. Expect rowdy singalongs and an energetic performance starting tonight at 8.

Lake Take 2

The Cleveland Monsters will be playing down at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse tonight at 7. Come early at 6 and you can rent or bring your own skates and get on the ice yourself. It’s also 1-2-3 Friday with $1 Pepsi products, $2 Sugardale hot dogs and $3 select beer specials. Or get the family together and head down to Boo At The Zoo over at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. There will be Trick or Treating, 4-D Movies, train rides and more from 5-9 tonight.

Saturday October 26

Lake Take 1

The Cavs play their home opener tonight down at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. They’ll go up against the Indiana Pacers and tipoff is at 8. Or celebrate Halloween tonight a little early down in University Circle for their Uptown “Upside Down” Halloween Bash. It’s a free event with a dance party, a glow in the dark mini-golf course, classic horror movies, pumpkin carving, candy and more. It goes from 7 to midnight.

Lake Take 2

Go see comedian Joe Rogan tonight down at the Wolstein Center. His podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, is one of the most listened to podcasts on Itunes and he’ll hit the stage at 8. Or take the family to the IX Center’s Trick Or Treat Street. There will loads of candy stations, live entertainment, amusement park rides and more. Costumes are encouraged and the event goes from 11-7 today and tomorrow.
