Lake Take 1

Coming up this week in Cleveland, comic Bert Kreischer will be at the Agora for 7 shows across 4 days starting Thursday, the IX Christmas Connection gets underway starting Friday, the Cavs play Portland on Saturday down at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse and comic Nick Offerman will be at Playhouse Square also on Saturday.

Lake Take 2

Cheer on the Cavs as they play the Philadelphia 76ers today at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Tipoff is at 3 and there’s family fun packs available featuring discounted tickets and concessions as well. Or head to Playhouse Square to see The Simon & Garfunkel Story. The touring production tells the story of the duo’s rise through the 60’s and eventual split. There are full band performances of the their hits and the curtain drops at 7 inside the Keybank State Theater.

Monday November 18

Lake Take 1

If you’re looking for some comedy tonight, head over to Great Lakes Brewing Company. Bill Squire, from our sister station WMMS, will be on hand for Craft Laughs. It’s a weekly stand-up event showcasing upcoming local comedians. It all goes down starting at 8. Or get some trivia in over at the Happy Dog’s Monday Night Trivia. They’ll dole out the headscratchers starting at 8 tonight along with a huge variety of hot dogs and craft beer.

Make your weekend plans now to go see Nick Offerman. The Parks & Recreation comic will be doing one show only this Saturday night at 8 down at the Keybank State Theater. Or get your Holiday Shopping on at the IX Christmas Connection. There will be over 700 booths selling every kind of holiday gift you can imagine. It starts Friday and goes all weekend long.

Head out to The Happy Dog on Detroit Avenue as they host Classical Revolution Cleveland tonight. It’s a group of various musicians around Cleveland getting together to bring classical music into a bar setting. It’s free for all-ages and the music gets started at 8. Or you can check out a new musical down at Playhouse Square called The Band’s Visit. It’s a Grammy & Tony award-winning musical about how music makes us laugh, cry and ultimately brings us all together. The curtain drops at 7:30 tonightinside the Connor Palace Theater.

Make your weekend plans now to catch red-hot comic Bert Kreischer. He’s been on multiple talk shows and podcasts and he’ll be in town at the Agora for 7 performances across 4 days starting Thursday. Or go cheer on the Cavs as they take on the Portland Trailblazers down at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. There will be family fun pack specials, a Toy Drive and also a Fanny Pack giveaway. Wednesday November 20

Lake Take 1

Head out to MGM Northfield Park tonight to catch Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening. Jason is the late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham’s son and he’ll be performing songs across the band’s repertoire beginning at 7:30 tonight. Or go check out The Cleveland Museum Of Art’s newest exhibit, Michelangelo: Mind Of The Master. Over two dozen of the legendary artist’s rarely-seen sketches will be on display today from 10 to 9.

Lake Take 2

If you’re a science fiction fan then get over to the Capitol Theater tonight over in Gordon Square. They’ll screen the classic 1982 flick Blade Runner: The Final Cut. The movie starts at 7 with a pre-party featuring a complimentary drink starting at 6. Or go to Music Box Supper Club for Cleveland Stories Dinner Parties. Tonight’s guest will discuss Lee Harvey Oswald and his life leading up to the JFK Assassination. The storytelling begins promptly tonight at 7. 

Thursday November 21

Lake Take 1

The Monsters hit the ice tonight at 7 down at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse against The Chicago Wolves. They are running a Hockey Hoppy Hour special from Labatt Blue with lower level tickets starting at $12 and your first drink on the house. Or take in some Classical music over at Severance Hall as The Cleveland Orchestra performs various selections from Hummel, Hayden and Schubert. The music starts at 7:30 tonight.

Lake Take 2

Get some laughs in tonight over at Hilarities with comedian T.J. Miller. He’s been named one of Variety’s Top 10 Comics To Watch and has been seen in the movie Deadpool, Transformers 4 and a whole host of other talk shows. He’ll be onstage tonight at 7 with additional shows through the weekend. Or go see ex-Staind frontman Aaron Lewis as he brings his “State I’m In” tour to House Of Blues tonight. The music starts at 7.

Friday November 22

Get in the Holiday spirit and do some shopping down at the IX Christmas Connection. There will be over 700 booths selling every kind of holiday gift you can imagine. It starts today from 10 to 8 and goes all weekend long. Or go see red-hot comic Bert Kreischer. He’s been on multiple talk shows and podcasts and he’s be in town at the Agora for multiple performances throughout the weekend. He’s got two shows tonight: one at 6 and the other at 8:30.

Lake Take 2

Make plans to hit the Dark X-Mas Pop Culture & Horror Con. It’s a modern day Comic Con, Classic Horror & Sci-Fi Convention. There will be celebrity guests and plenty of vendors selling all kinds of toys and memorabilia. It happens starting at 5 this evening over at the Holiday Inn in Mentor and goes all weekend long. Or get some Holiday shopping in at the Winter Market at the Shipyards in Lorain. All sorts of vendors will be set up selling their goods beginning at 6:30 this evening. It also goes from 9:30 – 4:30 tomorrow.

Saturday November 23

Go cheer on the Cavs as they take on the Portland Trailblazers down at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. There will be family fun pack specials, a Toy Drive and also a Fanny Pack giveaway. Tipoff is at 8. Or get some laughs with Stacci Schroeder as she performs at MGM Northfield Park. She’s been seen on the Bravo series Vanderpump Rules and has her own podcast called Straight Up With Stacci. She’ll hit the stage at 8 tonight.

Lake Take 2

Buy local and head out to the 2019 Strongsville Fall Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show. Local artists and crafters will be selling their stuff at the Strongsville Ehrnfelt Recreation Center today and tomorrow from 11 to 5. Or go see the Uncle Louis Variety Show down at Playhouse Square. Tonight’s stop is part of a world tour that began last February. This Italian-American comedic duo will be hitting the stage tonight at 8 over at the Hanna Theater.
