Coming up this week in Cleveland, The Cavs play the New York Knicks tomorrow night, a new musical, Anastasia, debuts at Playhouse Square on Tuesday night, The Cleveland Museum Of Art’s monthly MIX event is on Friday and The Lumineers play Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Saturday.

The 2020 Great Big Home & Garden Show continues down at the IX Center. 600 exhibits will be on display centering on how to renew, refresh and restore your home. It goes from 10-5 today and runs all the way through February 9th. Or head to the Cleveland Botanical Garden for their Orchid Mania exhibit. Over 3,000 orchids in all shapes and sizes will be on display today from 10 to 5.

Head out to Severance Hall tonight to see the ST. Olaf Choir. Consisting of 75 different voices, this premier acapella ensemble celebrates their 100th anniversary of their first tour of the east coast. The music starts tonight at 7:30. Or go catch a movie on the cheap tonight at a participating Cleveland Cinemas Theater. They'll have $5 movie tickets and discounted concession items too.
Tuesday February 4

Head down to Playhouse Square to catch a new musical Anastasia. Set in the 1920’s, it follows the story of a brave young woman who sets out to discover the mystery of her past. The curtain drops at 7:30 inside the Connor Palace Theater. Or go support local comedy over at Brothers Lounge on the West Side. They are hosting a Back Room Comedy Show which features 4 local comics who take the stage starting at 7:30 tonight.

Get out to Playhouse Square tonight for a stage production of Clue. It’s a murder-mystery comedy based on the popular board game and 1985 movie of the same name. Showtime is at 7 inside the Allen Theater. Or head over to the Winchester Music Tavern in Lakewood for their Open Turntable Tuesdays & Open Mic Night. Bring your own vinyl for them to spin from 6-9 and if you are musically inclined, participate in their Open Mic night happening after 9.
Wednesday February 5

Get out tonight to the Rock Hall for their Marti Gras celebration. It’s party of their Rock Hall Nights series where they invite you to dance to jazz music, play instruments, discover the sounds of Marti Gras and more. It goes from 6-9 tonight. Or head over to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse to catch The Monsters. They hit the ice tonight at 7 against Rochester. They are running a Hockey Hoppy Hour special from Labatt Blue with lower level tickets starting at $12 and your first drink on the house.

If you’re over in University Circle this evening, drop by the Cleveland Museum of Art for their Chamber Music In The Galleries event. It features mixed programs of chamber music and it’s free starting at 6. Or get some local entertainment over at The Happy Dog tonight with their event, Keep Talking: A Storytelling Show. This event features local people telling stories of crazy events in their lives. Sounds random? It is. Find out what it’s all about tonight starting at 8.

Get some classical music in over at Severance Hall as The Cleveland Orchestra performs Sibelius’s First Symphony. The concert begins at 7:30 tonight with another performance this Saturday night at 8. Or go hit the 2020 Great Big Home & Garden Show down at the IX Center. 600 exhibits will be on display centering on how to renew, refresh and restore your home. It goes from 10-8 today and runs all the way to Sunday.

If you feel like getting out for a little Cleveland-based trivia, then get over to Hofbrauhaus Cleveland downtown for their Pop-Cleveland event. The event asks “How Cleveland Are You?” and includes loads of questions about our fair city mixed with some sketch comedy too. It goes form 8-10 tonight. Or get over to the Cleveland Cinematheque for a screening of Scandalous: The True Story Of The National Enquirer. It follow the history of the infamous tabloid while examining our nation’s obsession with celebrity culture. It shows at 8:50 tonight and if that’s too late for you, it screens again at 7:30 tomorrow night.

Get out and attend The Cleveland Museum Of Art’s monthly MIX event. The theme this month is Cupid where you can learn about the sweet, sappy and scandalous love stories behind some of the pieces in their permanent collection. It goes from 6 to 10 tonight.Or if you’re a fan of the movie Amadeus, then head over to Severance Hall as the Cleveland Orchestra performs the score as they screen the film in the background. It starts at 7:30 tonight.

Red Space Gallery is holding their popular Vodka Vodka event tonight. There will be plenty of local and international Vodkas on hand to try out from 7-10 this evening. Or head to Hilarities downtown and check out the Sklar Brothers. These prolific twin brothers have been seen in shows like Grey’s Anatomy, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Curb Your Enthusiasm…and much of their humor draws on the experiences as twin brothers. They take the stage at 7 tonight with shows through the weekend.

If you’re a fan of Alt-Folk combo The Lumineers, then head over to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse tonight as the band comes through town. They have two opening acts and the music starts at 7. Or you can go down to the Rock Hall for the Tri-C High School Rock Off. 13 student bands will compete in the 2020 Annual High School Rock Off Competition from 6-10 tonight.

Do you like chocolate? Do you REALLY like chocolate? Then go hit Chocolate Crawl Willoughby 2020. Billed as A Celebration of Chocolate In Willoughby, you can taste all sorts of chocolate infused foods and drinks along Erie Street. It goes from 2-6 today. Or if you’re a big 80’s music fan, then get over to House of Blues as they host 80’s New Wave acts The Motels, Bow Wow Wow and When In Rome 2.That show gets started at 8.
