Michael Bolton is back with a new song. On Wednesday, March 8th, the iconic singer dropped "Spark of Light," which serves as the title track from his forthcoming album of original music. The album was co-written by Michael and a slate of contemporary writers, producers, artists, and DJs. Not only is the song the titular track, which he co-wrote with Walk the Moon singer Nicholas Petricca, but it also sparked the inspiration for the entire album.
“You’ve got the spark of light/ You don’t even have to try/ You’ve got the spark of light/ Lovin’ you is easy,” Bolton sings on the upbeat track.
"I'm really proud of this new body of music," Bolton said in a press statement. "It's been almost 15 years since I really dedicated myself to songwriting an entire album! I hope you love it as much as I do."
In addition to Spark of Light, Bolton was unmasked on the hit FOX show The Masked Singer last night. However, it wasn't much of a shock with Bolton's recognizable voice. After being unmasked as "The Wolf," Bolton announced the new album which he revealed will come out sometime this spring. He added that the album is all about "make this a beautiful world... Despite whatever's going on we gotta do our best to make a beautiful world."
