Madonna Speaks Out For First Time Since Health Scare, ICU Stay

Madonna has broken her silence after her sudden illness and ICU stay. After being spotted walking in New York City on Sunday, the pop diva posted a statement posted yesterday that she is “on the road to recovery”. Madonna revealed to fans that her first thought waking up in the hospital was “Where are my children?” and her second thought was, “I didn’t want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets to my tour.”

Getting down to logistics, Madge posted that the current plan is to “reschedule the North American leg of the tour and begin in October in Europe.” The “Material Girl” ended the statement by thanking her fans profusely for their support.

Meanwhile, Madonna has reportedly made it very clear to music execs what she does and does not want after her passing. It’s believed that the singer has completely ruled out the idea of living on in hologram-form the way Whitney Houston’s estate attempted with her. It is also believed that when it comes to her $850 million fortune, Madonna plans on splitting the rights to her songs equally amongst her six children: Lourdes, 26, Rocco, 22, David, 17, Mercy James, 16, and twins Estere and Stelle, 10.
